We are finally back to “Œ‹ž and if the holidays were really good (we followed the initial plan: do nothing) the return has been tougher.
I haven't slept more than 4h a night not because of the little one but because of work... Not only I was doing client support which I am not supposed to, I am now QA tester...
At least this Friday is the National Foundation Day so the week-end will be a bit longer. A bit only as we are invited to a few calls...
Anyway, that's not the purpose and the holidays are still too fresh to go down the road of complaints! So, Guam. Or should I say ƒOƒAƒ€ since it definitely looks like an extra prefecture of Japan. Everything there has been made for Japanese tourists (I wonder how big the capital flow between Japan and Guam is). At the hotel, in the cab, on all the ads... Everything was in Japanese. People were even talking to me in “ú–{Œê (I know I have spent quite some time here but, still). But well, that is for the beach side. Quickly when you go more inside the island, it looks more like if Philippines. In the emptiest mall I have ever been to in my life (the now famous -to me at least- Micronesian mall), much less of Japanese and more of locals watching the Superbowl. A view closer to reality maybe?
Anyway, the plan was not to visit and the pool side was really welcoming. At the end of day an overall good (and cheap: thanks for miles and the cheap dollar) experience worth doing if you feel tired and just need to get some sun for info, it comes with a lot of humidity too!). Quite kid-friendly too as our little one did enjoy it too!
