The day after the ˆù‚݉ï with ’†‰ª‚³‚ñ and a couple of friends, today was a tough day. One of those that makes you look toward week-end even more impatiently... Actually, one of my clients (a couple of traders, only prop desk) is facing issues these days. And today, he had a severe one with exchange in Hong-Kong.
As usually lately, this problem is a very strange one, more or less linked to the front-end and only on one of his position. So, I had to run everywhere between “Œ‹ž and Hong-Kong. Finally, I went there for the afternoon session and solved the issue. Good? Not really, since I don't really know what the issue was nor what I did to solve it. So, as a result, I'll be there tomorrow morning for the morning session try seeing what is going on and, if needed, solve any more problem.
Now, the problem is that, when I am there, my work with the 7 other clients is getting delayed. If you add some more tasks for the team (training, tools development/deployment), you see that days are getting longer and longer. Not too bad since I know that the tough time (the real one) will start from next Wednesday. And that for 2 months (or even more, depending on the exchange test session). So, if I am a bit worried by what I'll have to do, I also can't help thinking that it will be very interesting. And, with the experience (almost one year!), some problems shouldn't be problem anymore... Hopefully! However, it should balance with a huge constraint: the 6-nations tournament will start in the coming weeks. And that's the last one before the World Cup in France, next Fall. Some more nights watching TV, unless I go to France to follow. I don't know yet. I'll see or, we'll see, I should say...

It is one of the reasons (actually, more for the World Cup), such as working my Japanese, sleep in my bed (rather than my couch), watch DVD/movie in a tempered temperature room... And many more!
